Year 3 Cutty Sark & National Maritime Museum trip.

Year 3 went on a trip to Greenwich to see the Cutty Sark and visit the Maritime Museum as part of their topic 'Explorers'.
They took part in a workshop on board the Cutty Sark, helping them to learn more about the history of it.
"I learnt that the Cutty Sark sailed all the way to China and on the journey back it was in a race against a boat called Thermopylae. The Cutty Sark's rudder broke and it lost the race." - Willliam. S
