Spring Term

Spring 1

This half term we will be entering the enchanted world of fairy tales! Ever wondered what really happened between the Big Bad Wolf and the Three Little Pigs? We'll be finding out in our Guided Reading sessions! Jack and the Beanstalk, the Three Billy Goats Gruff and Little Red Riding Hood will be inspiring our writing and our creative skills in D&T and Music. So let's get going to the land of Once Upon a Time...

Creative Curriculum Overview - Spring 1

Spring 2

Last half term we learnt all about the fantastic life of Florence Nightingale. She came in and visited us to tell us all about about her life and achievements. We had lots of fun pretending to be soldiers and nurses, we even got to bandage each other's injuries.

We learnt about William Morris and his repeated patterns using nature. We then used his art for our own inspiration.

During English we created our own e-books about Florence Nightingale's life using Book Creator. This is a free app that you can download to use at home.
