At James Dixon, it is our intent to develop enthusiastic and inquisitive language learners. Through well planned, fun and engaging lessons, delivered by a native French speaker, the children learn to communicate across a range of topics with increasing confidence and accuracy. With skills ranging from simple conversation starters, numbers and colours to more complex sentences designed to further their abilities, our children develop a passion and curiosity for other languages. As part of a diverse community, we believe it is of vital importance that children are exposed to languages and cultures that will enable them to communicate effectively with others in another language. Our lessons are designed to foster pupils’ curiosity and deepen their understanding of other cultures and countries.
